Thomas Training Center on Eagle Glacier

Thirty five minutes south of Anchorage by car, and a short ten minute flight will get you to the best summer ski training opportunity in the world. The Thomas Training Center on Eagle Glacier, located on an alpine ridge 5700 feet above Girdwood and the Turnagain Arm, is just a short walk from the ski tracks. The Eagle Glacier provides the best summer skiing available in North America!

















APUNSC Summer On-Snow Camps: Space is limited - register early!

Jim Galanes, the head coach of APUNSC, invites you to for some great summer training. The APUNSC staff will run Three summer camps at the Thomas Training Center that are open for developing cross country skiers. Due to the size of the facility, space for each camp is limited to twenty athletes. Each camp will offer five full days of skiing!

Camp Cost
6 day camp $720.00 U.S.

dates: June 12 to 17, July 10-15, August 7-12, 2006. Discount rates for groups larger than 10. Other dates can be arranged for groups. The cost for the camp covers transportation into the glacier, food, lodging, wax and track setting fees.
